SHABDA Access Policy

Who may open SHABDA, on which plan

One Google account, one answer. Sign in once with Google; SHABDA checks the account against the rules below and opens what that account is entitled to. No student stops learning for want of fees — see 4.
Many scholars will be empanelled to teach Sanskrit courses, ranging from 1st Standard to Post-Doctoral Fellowship.

2 · How SHABDA decides, in order

  1. 2.1The first rule that fits decides. A higher rule always wins, so a paying student never sees a trial countdown.
  2. 2.2Developers and super-admins — sarvaveda@gmail.com, tech@dharmaposhanam.in and the deploy allowlist. Permanent; needs no database.
  3. 2.3Any live staff role (plan D). A teacher or editor is never asked for a subscription.
  4. 2.4A rejection by a human bars the account, above anything paid.
  5. 2.5A comp — gratis, scholarship or extension for a learner. Always has a reason, an expiry and an audit row.
  6. 2.6The subscription (plans A, B, C), with a short grace period if a payment is late.
  7. 2.7The free trial — 14 days of All Access from first sign-in. One per email, ever; signing in again never resets it.
  8. 2.8Otherwise the trial has ended: the screen says so and offers Subscribe or Seek sponsorship. Never a blank page.
  9. 2.9If the system itself cannot be reached, the screen says that — it never tells a paying student they have not paid.

3 · Plan D in detail — the gratis seat for staff and editors

  1. 3.1A staff seat is a role, not a comp. A comp expires by design; a role does not lapse.
  2. 3.2Every role opens all of SHABDA. What differs is the admin lane each role may work in:
RoleLanesCan do in the admin panel
अधीक्षक · Super-AdminTeaching, contentEverything; grants and revokes Admins
निर्वाहक · AdminTeaching, contentDecides admissions, places on rosters, grants and revokes comps, publishes content, grants roles up to Operator
कर्ता · OperatorTeaching, contentReads every roster, batch and ticket; schedules interviews; assembles question papers
समन्वायक · CoordinatorTeachingRuns the batches in scope; answers help-desk tickets; never sees who has paid
सम्पादक · EditorContentApproves or returns content; sets formats and rubrics; never reaches a student record
अध्यापक · TeacherTeachingRoster and attendance of own batches; announcements to own batch
रचयिता · CreatorContentAuthors and revises content; submits it to an Editor
  1. 3.3The content lane never reaches student records or money, so an editor's account is worth nothing to someone hunting student data.
  2. 3.4Permanent holders: the two developer addresses (2.2), VKG Foundation's admin@vkgfoundation.in, and the content team dev@ and dps@dharmaposhanam.in as Editors.
  3. 3.5Testers outside the staff get a learner comp (2.5), which expires.

4 · Sponsorship

  1. 4.1No student stops learning for want of fees. The charities find sponsors.
  2. 4.2Use Seek sponsorship on the registration page. A granted sponsorship is entered as a comp (2.5).
  3. 4.3Payments: USD by Stripe through Dharma Poshanam; INR by Razorpay.

5 · What is live today

  1. 5.1Live The whole ladder in 2: super-admins, staff roles, rejection, comps, subscription with grace, 14-day trial.
  2. 5.2Live Plan D: all seven roles, granted from the admin panel, permanent.
  3. 5.3Live Plan A: one paid subscription opens every module.
  4. 5.4Being built Plan B: the subscription does not yet record which modules were chosen, so Modular cannot yet be bought apart from All Access.
  5. 5.5Being built Plan C: priced per teacher and product; no checkout yet.
  6. 5.6Being built The free content (Basic Prayers, Varṇa Viṣaya, Spardhā puzzles) still sits behind sign-in; it will open without it.

6 · Where staff manage access

  1. 6.1The admin panel: edu.swadharmaservices.in/admin. Sign in with a staff Google account.
  2. 6.2App Access (#/app-access) — every person who can open SHABDA, with category and state.
  3. 6.3Access (#/access, “Gratis & codes”) — grant, extend and revoke comps and codes.
  4. 6.4Staff (#/staff) — grant and remove roles (plan D).
  5. 6.5SHABDA learners (#/shabda) — learner activity. Self-test results are never stored.
  6. 6.6Each row of App Access carries its own buttons: Give access (free days, with a reason), Revoke or End trial, and Suspend / Lift. A suspension bars the person whatever they hold, until lifted; developers cannot be suspended. Every action is audited.

7 · Scholars and courses

  1. 7.1Many scholars will be empanelled to teach Sanskrit courses, ranging from 1st Standard to Post-Doctoral Fellowship.
  2. 7.2A course taught by a particular scholar is offered under plan C · Specialist (1).
  3. 7.3Scholars join through empanelment. A scholar granted the Teacher role holds its free seat (plan D, 3).

8 · Partner schools and teachers

  1. 8.1Schools and educational institutions can join the SHABDA Project as partners (franchisees).
  2. 8.2A partner school receives a group and franchisee discount of 20%. Withdrawn 4 October 2026 — see 9.4 and 9.6.
  3. 8.3Students choose their school on the registration form (“Select your School / Educational Institution”). The enrolment is credited to that school, and the school's commission accrues from it.
  4. 8.4Individual teachers qualify for a 15% discount when they are empanelled as teachers and are admitting students. Withdrawn 4 October 2026 — see 9.5.
  5. 8.5Each partner signs in with Google at edu.swadharmaservices.in/partner to see its own students and when each last used SHABDA.
  6. 8.6The SHABDA office keeps the partner register in the admin panel (#/partners, “Partners & franchisees”).

9 · One sign-up, four roles

  1. 9.1Sign up as a Learner (छात्रः), Teacher (उपाध्यायः), Scholar (विद्वान्) or Vidyalaya (विद्यालयः), from the registration page.
  2. 9.2One Google account holds every role. Sign in once at My account to see each role's status and open its page.
  3. 9.3A learner can graduate to Teacher or Scholar. A Teacher or Scholar can add a Vidyalaya. The request is made from the person's own signed-in account, and the SHABDA office enables it in the admin panel.
  4. 9.4A partner Vidyalaya has the All Access rate.
  5. 9.5Teachers and Scholars have a concessional promo code: 25% to start with.
  6. 9.6Partners receive a commission from the fees of the students who enrol through them. The rate is set per partner by the office.
  7. 9.7The in-house team has free access.
  8. 9.8Upgrades are free for the content team for two years, to 4 October 2028.
  9. 9.9For teachers: content for the various texts will be made available at one location, with AI help, so that you can teach easily.
